We set two purposes; (1) to investigate the related parameter with extremyocellular lipid (EMCL) and 2) to investigate the effect of neuromusuclar electrical stimulation (NMES) on EMCL. We found that muscle quality and quantity was related with EMCL. Furthermore, EMCL did not change after NMES.

Older individuals
Thirty-two older individuals were participated in this study. They assigned NMES group (n=24) and Control group (n=8) with non-randamized controlled trial.
