Objectives

Narrative objectives1

Influenza is a viral infection that should be emphasized in the elderly. This is particularly a problem for the elderly because many patients become severe with secondary bacterial pneumonia. The general clinical picture of influenza is as high as 38 to 40 degrees. However, as for cough symptoms in influenza patients, although there are previous studies in healthy adults, we have not conducted any studies in the elderly population so far. Not. Moreover, there is no report which investigated the amount of influenza viruses scattered with cough over time. Therefore, in this study, we investigate the amount of virus scattering due to influenza cough and changes over time in the cough reflex in elderly people.
