-People with disabilities in regular employment (includes individuals in permanent, non-permanent, and part-time jobs, as well as those working in special-purpose corporations that focus on the employment of people with disabilities.
-Participants may be of any age or gender.

Key exclusion criteria

Study A (anonymous questionnaire-based survey): No exclusion criteria.

Study B (individual interview): The following were excluded: (1) people in sheltered workshops, and those not in regular employment; (2) people employed for less than 1 year.

-Compared with people working for less than 3 years, those working 3 years or longer reported higher job satisfaction and higher levels of feeling that their work environment was pleasant.
-People working for less than 4 years reported higher scores for "ease of consulting with immediate supervisor regarding non-work issues" than those working 4 years or longer.
-People working 3 years or longer reported higher degrees of family understanding of their disability/condition.
