No differences in baseline characteristics of participants and facilities were noted. There was no significant difference in educational skills scores at post-test between the intervention and control group . There was no significant difference in attitude scores at post-test between the two groups. The knowledge scores at post-test were significantly higher in the intervention group .

There were no differences in participants and facilities between the intervention and the control group.
Overall, 25 facilities met the eligibility criteria, of which 21 (77 participants) consented to participate in the study. 11 facilities (44 participants) were randomly assigned to the intervention group and 10 facilities (33 participants) to the control group. Total of 33 participants responded to the post-test, so the follow-up rate at post-test was 75% in the intervention group. At one month the intervention group had 9 facilities (31 participants). The control group retained 10 facilities (31 participants). The follow-up rate was 94% in the control group.
