重回帰分析において、血清オステオカルシンの変化は中性脂肪基礎値と負の相関があり、プラークスコアと正の相関を認めた。一方で、血清オステオカルシン基礎値は中性脂肪の変化と有意な負の相関があり、HDL-コレステロールの変化と有意な正の相関を認めた。血清オステオカルシンの変化とHbA1ｃの変化とプラークスコアの変化との間に有意な負の相関を認めた。

Multiple regression analysis showed that changes in osteocalcin negatively correlated with baseline triglyceride, and positively with baseline plaque score. Baseline serum osteocalcin level negatively correlated with changes in triglyceride, and positively with changes in HDL-cholesterol. Changes in osteocalcin negatively correlated with changes in HbA1c and plaque score.
