浅大腿動脈に対するステント留置術には議論が残るところである。10cm以上の長い病変に対してステントの有効性を報告するデータもあるが、大規模、長期間にわたる報告は少ない。そのため、多施設、後ろ向きの大規模データにて検証した。

Stent deployment for superficial femoral artery (SFA) is still controversial. Although some published data reported efficacy of nitinol stent for long (10cm more) SFA under appropriate medical therapy, there were a few long term and large scale studies. We studied multicenter, high volume data retrospectively.

末梢動脈疾患患者で、浅大腿動脈に有意病変を持つ患者が対象。浅大腿動脈に対してS.M.A.R.T. Control Stentを留置して、6か月以上の経過観察をしえた症例。

Inclusion criteria is peripheral arterial Disease patients who has a superficial femoral artery disease. Another point is the cases, deployed S.M.A.R.T. Contol. Stent in the superficial femoral artery and followed up over six months.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

浅大腿動脈にS.M.A.R.T. Control. Stentを留置して、その後の経過を超音波を用いて経過観察した。最初は留置後、1、3、6、12カ月後、その後は一年ごとに経過観察を行った。再狭窄を起こした群と起こさなかった群とを比較検討した。

We studied patients, deployed S.M.A.R.T. Control. Stent for the superficial femoral artery. Follow up modality is duplex sonography. Patients were checked 1, 3, 6, 12 months after treatment, and every 1 year. Restenosis group was compared to no restenosis group.
