目的1/Narrative objectives1

日本語
経口腔的に切除された頭頸部表在癌について、以下の項目を全国調査すること。

調査項目
1. 頭頸部表在癌の臨床病理学的特徴の調査
2. 予後（全生存期間・無病生存期間・無再発生存期間・無転移再発生存期間・原病生存期間）の調査
3. 局所遺残・再発割合
4. 転移再発割合
5. 多発癌発生割合
6. 重複癌発生割合
7. 局所遺残・再発、転移再発リスクの評価
8. 治療に関する有害事象の調査
9. 臓器温存割合

英語
To conduct a national survey of the following items in patients with transorally resected superficial head and neck cancer.

1. Survey of clinical and histopathological characteristics of superficial head and neck cancer
2. Survey of outcomes including overall survival, disease-free survival, relapse-free survival, metastatic relapse-free survival, and cause-specific survival
3. Rates of local failure and recurrence
4. Rates of lymph-node and distant metastases
5. Incidence of metachronous cancer
6. Incidence of second primary cancer
7. Evaluation of risk factors for local failure, relapse, and metastatic relapse
8. Survey of adverse events associated with treatment
9. Rate of organ preservation

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

日本語
1. 組織学的に扁平上皮癌（high grade intraepithelial neoplasiaを含める）と診断されている
2. 組織学的に頭頸部表在癌と診断されている
3. 2009年12月までに経口腔的切除がおこなわれている（追加治療の有無は問わない）
4. 切除標本の深部断端が陰性である
5. 病変が中・下咽頭、声門上部に限局している（一部頸部食道にかかる病変は含める）
6. 臨床的にリンパ節転移がないことを確認している
7. 活動性の頭頸部進行癌を伴わない（外科手術後や化学放射線療法後の異時性多発癌は登録可能とする）

1. Histologically confirmed squamous-cell carcinoma (including high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia)
2. Histologically confirmed superficial head and neck cancer
3. Transoral resection was performed by December 2009 (irrespective of the presence or absence of additional treatment)
4. A tumor-negative vertical margin of the resected specimen
5. Lesions localized to the oropharynx/hypopharynx or supraglottis (including lesions partially involving the cervical esophagus)
6. No clinical evidence of lymph-node metastasis
7. The absence of active advanced head and neck cancer (patients with metachronous multiple cancer after surgery or chemoradiotherapy can be enrolled)
