高齢者の暑熱による健康障害予防を目的とし、日常生活環境下における温熱環境と生理・心理量を測定するとともに、意識調査アンケート結果を行い、住環境・住まい方の改善方法を検討する。

高齢者は日常生活の中で暑い環境を受け入れ、着衣長が多い傾向があった。皮膚温の変化は周囲気温の影響を受けており、適切な環境規制行動を促進することの重要性が示された。

Older adults were accepted hot environment in their daily lives and tended to wear a large amount of clothes. The changes of skin ambient was effected by ambient air temperature, indicating the importance of promoting appropriate environmental regulation behavior.

すべての参加者は、近畿地方在住の健康な日本人である。
主なアンケート調査内容は、個人属性、日常生活習慣、環境調節行動、熱中症に関する知識、暑熱対策、水分摂取量である。主な実測調査項目は、人体周囲温湿度、皮膚温、活動量、温冷感、快適感、室温評価、許容度、着衣量である。

All participants were healthy Japanese individuals living in the Kinki region of Japan.
The questionnaire survey contents were individual characteristics, knowledge about heat disorders, daily living habits, behavior related to environmental control, provisions for the summer heat, and water and food intake.
The measurement survey contents were the data on ambient air temperature, relative humidity, skin temperature, activity, thermal sensation, comfort sensations, room temperature evaluations, acceptability, and the clothing insulation (clo) value.
