選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

日本語
1) 発症7日以内の脳梗塞もしくは一過性脳虚血発作で、経食道心エコーにて大動脈弓部に4mm以上の粥状動脈硬化病変を有する患者

2) 高コレステロール血症（LDLコレステロール≧140mg/dL）と診断された患者

英語
1) Patients with brain infarction or transient ischemic attack within 7 days after onset, having atheromatous aortic plaques greater than 4mm in size

2) Patients with hypercholesterolemia (Serum LDL-C levels greater than 140mg/dL)

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
1) 妊娠している可能性のある婦人又は授乳婦
2) スタチンの成分に過敏症の既往がある患者さん
3) 冠動脈疾患などでスタチンや他の脂質代謝異常治療薬が必要な患者
4) 高度の腎障害、肝障害の患者さん
5) シクロスポリン投与中の患者

1) Patients during pregnancy or lactation
2) Allergy against statin
3) Patients with coronary artery disease and requiring statin therapy
4) Patients with severe renal dysfunction or liver dysfunction
5) Patients undergoing cyclosporin therapy
