閉塞性睡眠時無呼吸と大動脈瘤拡大の因果関係を検証するために、大動脈瘤と閉塞性睡眠時無呼吸を合併している患者において、CPAP治療が大動脈瘤拡大を抑制するかを検討する

This study is aimed at investigating whether CPAP therapy can attenuate aortic aneurysm expansion in patients with obstructive sleep apnea, in order to explore the causal relationship between aortic aneurysm expansion and obstructive sleep apnea.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

1. 胸部大動脈瘤あるいは腹部大動脈瘤の診断で通院中の患者
2. 少なくとも1年以上前からCTにて大動脈瘤径を測定されている
3. 高血圧・脂質異常症・糖尿病に対して適切な治療がなされている

英語
1. Patients with thoracic aortic aneurysm (TAA) or abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA)
2. Diameter of aortic aneurysm has been measured by CT for at least one year
3. Receiving appropriate treatments for hypertension, dyslipidemia, and/or diabetes

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
1. 睡眠時無呼吸症候群に対して既に何らかの治療を受けている患者
2. 対象となる大動脈瘤に対して、既に何らかの治療を受けている患者
3. 対象となる大動脈瘤に対して、治療が予定されている患者
4. 中枢性無呼吸症候群
5. 在宅酸素療法を受けている患者
6. Marfan症候群などの遺伝性疾患に伴う大動脈瘤患者
7. CPAPの継続使用が困難と考えられる患者（認知症など）
8. CPAP非適応患者で、CPAP以外の閉塞睡眠時無呼吸治療を希望する患者
9. 90日以内に上気道・鼻腔・副鼻腔・中耳の手術歴がある患者

1. Previous or current treatments for sleep apnea.
2. Previous treatment for aortic aneurysm
3. Planned intervention for aortic aneurysm
4. Central sleep apnea syndrome
5. Long-term oxygen therapy
6. Aortic aneurysm associated with hereditary diseases (e.g. Marfan syndrome)
7. Unable to use CPAP
8. Hope for treatments other than CPAP for OSA
9. Surgery of upper airway within 90 days
