ベースラインにおける健常群、歯周炎群の新規検出機器検査による唾液サンプル中の菌量レベル差異と、従来の検査方法（外注）の結果の比較を行う。

The levels of bacteria in the saliva samples from periodontitis or control subjects will be assessed. And they are compared with data obtained by the conventional (PCR-Invader) method.

細菌検査結果と以下の歯周パラメーターとの関連性を検討する。
１）プロービングデプス（Probing depth : PD）
２）プロービング時の出血（Bleeding on probing : BOP）

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

日本語
①「歯周病の検査・診断・治療計画の指針　2008」に従い、慢性歯周炎患者と診断された20歳以上の患者を患者群とする。
②「歯周病の検査・診断・治療計画の指針　2008」 に基づく診断分類に従い、軽度歯肉炎または健常と判断された者を健常コントロール群とする。
④　患者群は，初診またはサポーティブペリオドンタルセラピー（SPT）中の者とする。

1. Those with clinical diagnosis of chronic periodontitis (20 >years old) (Patient group).
2. Periodontally healthy individuals (Control group).
3. The patient group should be at the start of periodontal therapy or during SPT.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
①重篤でコントロールされていない基礎疾患（糖尿病、脂質異常症、心血管系疾患、骨粗鬆症、自己免疫疾患，その他）を有する者
②　喫煙者
③　3ヶ月以内に抗菌薬の服用がある者
④　6ヶ月以内に歯周治療を受けた者（初診患者について）
⑤　その他担当歯科医師が不適切と判断する場合

1. Those with uncontrolled systemic disease(s)
2. Smokers
3. Those with history of antibiotic therapy within 3 months.
4. Those with history of periodontal therapy within 6 months. (In case of new patient).
6. Those judged to be inappropriate to participate by dentist.
