通常のケアに加えて12週間ω3系脂肪酸を摂取した勤労者が、通常のケアのみでω3系脂肪酸を摂取しなかった勤労者に比べて、3ヶ月時点の職業性ストレス（心理的苦痛・抑うつ症状・唾液中ストレスマーカー）が軽減されるかどうかを検討する。

主な結果/Results

日本語
オメガ3系脂肪酸を摂取し続けて12週間後、
プラセボ群とオメガ3系脂肪酸群両群でBDI-IIを指標としたうつのスコアがベースラインに比べて有意に低かった。しかしながら、オメガ3系脂肪酸を摂取し続けて12週間後の時点において、両群のうつのスコアに有意差はみられなかった。

After 12 weeks of treatment, BDI-II scores were significantly lower in the placebo and omega-3 group, when compared to their respective baseline scores (Placebo: t=-4.6, p<0.01; Omega-3: t=-7.3, p<0.01). However, after 12 weeks of treatment, we found no significant difference between both groups with respect to changes in the BDI-II scores (0.7; 95% CI, -0.7 to 2.1; p=0.30).

参加者の流れ/Participant flow

適格性を有する者を対象とした抑うつ症状の程度を確認し中程度の症状を有する者を選定。その後、研究の同意が得られた90名を対象としてランダマイゼーションをし、介入群47名、コントロール群43名とした。

For potential participants assessed for eligibility, the degree of depressive symptoms was confirmed, and those with moderate symptoms were selected. Subsequently, 90 subjects who consented to the study were randomized to 47 in the intervention group and 43 in the control group.
