37名の難治性不妊症の女性に対して、受精卵を子宮に着床させる前に1.25気圧、36%酸素濃度の環境に1回1時間、複数回にわたって滞在してもらう。

Thirty-seven women with intractable infertility, who underwent in vitro fertilization more than 5 times without success. Patients were exposed to mild hyperbaric oxygen at 1.25 atmospheres absolute with 36% oxygen before in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer.

5回以上の体外受精を試みている難治性不妊症の女性に対して、本臨床研究で使用する軽度高気圧酸素の環境への曝露について説明を受けて理解してもらい、実験への参加を了承した患者 (参加を希望した患者) を採用。

Women with intractable infertility, who have undergone in vitro fertilization more than 5 times without success, participated in this study with their intention. All participants received an explanation as to the aims of the study and methods of data collection and signed an informed consent form for participation in this study.

主な結果/Results

日本語
軽度高気圧酸素の使用前と使用後の臨床妊娠率は、それぞれ4.9%と13.8%であった。37名の不妊症患者のうち、高気圧酸素の環境への曝露で13名が臨床妊娠をみた。そのうち、７名が出産した (5名は体外受精、2名は自然妊娠であった)。なお、1名は子宮外妊娠、5名は流産であった。

The rates of clinical pregnancy were 4.9% and 13.8% before and after exposure to mild hyperbaric oxygen, respectively. Thirteen women achieved clinical pregnancy. Five and 2 women gave birth after in vitro fertilization and natural conception, respectively; 1 woman had an extrauterine pregnancy, and 5 women miscarried.
