主な結果/Results

日本語
最小ノルム法を用いた信号源推定解析によって、痛覚に関連した脳活動は島皮質後部に、触覚に関連した脳活動は頭頂葉弁蓋部に推定された。さらに、皮質レベルでの調節を反映する、島皮質後部における痛覚関連活動の有意な抑制を認めた。一方、脊髄レベルでの調節は、島皮質後部と頭頂葉弁蓋部の両方で観察された。視覚的評価スケールによる主観的痛みも、両条件において有意に減少していた。

Source localization using minimum norm estimates demonstrated that pain-related activity was located in the posterior insula, whereas tactile-related activity was estimated in the parietal operculum. Significant inhibition of pain-related activity in the posterior insula due to cortical modulation. Spinal modulation was observed both in the posterior insula and parietal operculum. Subjective pain, as evaluated by the visual analog scale, also showed significant reduction in both conditions.

本研究には11人の右利き健常被験者が参加した。被験者は神経疾患や慢性疼痛、右腕に関わる外傷や手術の既往がなく、内服中の薬剤もなかった。

Eleven healthy right-handed volunteers participated in this study. The subjects had no history of neurological conditions or chronic pain. They also had no current or prior history of traumatic events or surgery involving the right arm, and were not on any medication.
