健常者を対象に，疼痛下での胃底部拡張能と胃運動機能の評価をクロスオーバー比較試験で行った．体外式超音波検査による胃底部拡張能と胃運動機能評価を行い，液体試験食を100mlずつ4回に分けて飲用させ近位胃横断面積を測定した後に，前庭部横断面積による収縮率・収縮回数を測定した．

We undertook a crossover comparison study to evaluate gastric fundal accommodation and gastric motility in healthy subjects in the presence of tolerable pain. Gastric fundal accommodation and gastric motility were assessed by external ultrasonography. The cross-sectional area of the proximal stomach was measured after subjects had taken 100 mL-liquid meals four times, then the amplitude and frequency of antral contractions were measured.

慢性疼痛、糖尿病、胃腸の手術歴がある、胃運動に影響を及ぼす薬剤を摂取している対象は除外した

None of the subjects had chronic pain, diabetes mellitus, had undergone gastrointestinal surgery, or was taking medication that could affect gastric motility.
