主要アウトカム評価項目/Primary outcomes

日本語
超音波スケーラーによる縁下歯石デブライドメントを行い１ヶ月後、３ヶ月後に再評価を行う。
１週後、１ヶ月後、３ヶ月後に唾液を採取し細菌学的評価を行う。

Clinical examination was performed at baseline and 4 and 12 weeks after treatment. Microbiological examination was carried out just before and after treatment and at 1 and 12 weeks posttreatment.

4分の1顎ずつに4mm以上のポケットが1ヶ所以上
単根歯において6mm以上のポケットが1ヶ所以上
基本治療中に抜歯しない方
非喫煙者

英語
A minimum of 20 teeth present and exhibited at least one pocket site with a probing depth of 4 mm or more in each quadrant.
Good general health
None had received periodon- tal treatment and/or antibiotic therapy within the preceding 6 months
