・頭頸部悪性腫瘍の切除範囲決定について、各々の画像診断法(デンタル・パノラマXp，CT，MRI，FDG-PET，骨シンチグラフィ)の有用性の後ろ向き検討
・病理組織学的に顎骨浸潤が認められた症例の特異的なMRI像の後ろ向き検討

In this study, we carry out the comparison of pathological features of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) with bone invasion between preoperative and evaluated capacity of accurate imaging bone invasion with some device and outcomes of surgical removal of bone with or without tumor.

主要アウトカム評価項目/Primary outcomes

対象症例をWHO分類や癌取扱い規約にもとづき、分化度・顎骨浸潤様式などを病理組織学的に評価した後、術前画像検査としてデンタル・パノラマXp，CT，MRI，FDG-PET，骨シンチグラフィの各々について顎骨浸潤を描出の可否について評価する。各々の画像検査について、顎骨浸潤の判定基準を設け評価する。特にMRIについては、①骨膜反応の有無、②正常皮質骨・骨髄の描出の有無、③扁平上皮癌のMRI典型所見であるT2強調像で高信号,T1強調像で低～中信号、の各々について評価し、統計学的に解析し、その正答率を評価する

All patients had 5 preoperative image diagnosis methods, contrast enhanced MRI, CT, 99mTc scintigraphy (TC scan), FDG-PET CT (PET/CT) and panoramic radiograph (PR).
Among bone invasion, sensitivity and specificity were calculated for these images, comparing pathological finding.

(1) 疾患名　2011年以降に東北大学病院歯科顎口腔外科にて病理診断および外科的治療を目的に顎骨内組織を切除され扁平上皮癌と診断された口腔癌
(2) 病期、ステージ　ステージ　Stage1～4
(3) 年齢、性別　30代から90代までの男女

The study participants were 30 patients who were scheduled for mandibulectomy or maxillectomy with OSCC.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

手術・生検の承諾書において、摘出組織の研究目的での利用に同意が得られなかった場合。
対象者が未成年者の場合、成年者でも十分な判断力のない場合本研究の対象にしない
