救急科担当医が感染症を疑った緊急室入室患者のうち、感染症治療薬投与もしくは指示、微生物学的検索もしくは指示、感染源検索の画像診断もしくは指示を行ったもの。

All patients who presented to the emergency room with a clinically suspected infectious disease or who were diagnosed with an infectious disease by a treating emergency physician, and who underwent at least one of the following : treatment for infection, a microbiological investigation and/or a radiological investigation due to infection.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

2回目以降の感染症、あるいは感染症が再燃したもの
診断時に積極的治療の対象ではないと判断したもの

Patients were excluded if they had been registered once, had recurrent infection or were not eligible for aggressive care.
