本研究計画では心筋・結合織・血管壁異常に基づく循環器疾患を対象疾患とし、ゲノム等の解析結果に基づく正確な診断や適切な治療（精密医療）の実現を目的とする。

第1に慶應義塾大学病院の循環器内科・心臓外科・小児科・臨床遺伝学センターを受診した心筋・血管壁・結合織の異常を来す患者を選定・依頼の対象とする。第2に疾患の特性上小児も対象となる。第3に、病理解剖された死体からの残余サンプルも対象となる。なお、本研究は疫学研究ではないため、対照群を設定してない。
