日本語
非定型顔面痛の治療経験が豊富な非定型顔面痛専門外来において、非定型顔面痛患者を対象に、高容量アミノトリプチン治療前後に頭部MRIを計測・画像解析を行うことにより、治療前から後へと縦断的に脳構造および機能ネットワーク変化を観察し、非定型顔面痛（PIFP）の中枢神経における神経変性機序を明らかにすること、を狙いとする。

To make clear the central neural changes and pathogenesis of persistent idiopathic facial pain: PIFP, we take head MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) of the PIFP patients at the timing of before and after high-dose Amitriptyline therapy, using brain imaging analysis techniques.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

日本語
1) 専門外来で持続性特発性顔面痛（persistent idiopathic facial pain: PIFP）（特発性口腔顔面痛、非定型歯痛、舌痛症）と、担当医に診断を受けた患者
特発性口腔顔面痛、非定型歯痛、舌痛症の診断基準：
国際頭痛分類第３β版13.10 口腔内灼熱症候群（舌痛症）13.11 持続
2) 比較的大きな音に耐えられること（MRI撮影中の騒音）
3) 外来受診し、選択基準を満たす患者全員に研究参加の意思を確認し、研究に参加することに同意した患者を、外来受付順に登録。

2. Endurable for relatively big noise (MRI noise)
3. The men and women who have own willing to participate the current research, well-Informed, and have consent.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
1）心不全、腎不全、肝不全、呼吸不全などの重篤な全身合併症のある患者
２）重度精神病、精神症状を合併しており、研究への参加が困難と判断される患者
３）閉所恐怖症・暗所恐怖症の既往があり、MRI撮影への参加が困難と判断される患者
４）体内に金属を有する患者（MRI撮影するため）。
５）妊娠中の女性

2. Severe psychosis.
3. Closed-phobia and dark-phoibia (for MRI acquisition circumstances)
4. having metal in their body inside (for MRI acquisition)
5. pregnancy

初診時と治療効果が出た後に、不安尺度、痛みに関する質問票、不合理な信念測定尺度等の主観的指標を測定し、MRI画像（客観的指標）との多変量解析を行う。MRI画像解析はVBM (voxel based morphometry)、 安静時脳活動解析(RS-fMRI: resting-state fMRI)およびDTI (diffusion tensor imaging)を実施する。

At the timeing of first visit and approximately 3 months after of the PIFP special outpatient, patients take subjective questionaries and head MRI under their own willing and consent for the research. MRI analysis would be done by following three: VBM, DTI and rs-fMRI.
