本検討では、潰瘍性大腸炎の粘膜組織炎症の評価における、新規内視鏡画像強調システムであるLinked Color Imaging (LCI)の有効性を評価することを目的とする。

本研究ではFUJIFILM社の内視鏡画像強調システムであるLinked Color Imaging(LCI)を用いたものである。潰瘍性大腸炎患者の大腸内視鏡検査時に各部位毎の関心領域を設定し、その部位で白色光とLCIモードで写真撮影を行い、粘膜の生検を行う。得られた画像データを元にCIELAB色空間でL*,a*,b*を計測し、白色光とLCIのa*,b*の色差(ΔC)を評価する。また、その色差がどの病理評価項目と相関するかを検討する。

All examinations were conducted with a LASEREO endoscopic system (FUJIFILM CO., Tokyo, Japan). During the colonoscopy, each region of interest (ROI) of terminal ileum, cecum, ascending colon, transverse colon, descending colon, sigmoid colon, and rectum was observed by both white light imaging (WLI), and LCI. The Commission international de l'eclairage (CIE) LAB color differences (delta C) were calculated among WLI and LCI in each ROI. After ROI was observed by colonoscopy, the biopsy specimen was taken in each ROI. The correlation between delta C and pathological findings was assessed.
