選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

1） 原発性直腸癌に対し原発巣の切除及び側方郭清が予定されている症例
2） 主組織型が腺癌であることが確認されている症例
3） 試験参加について患者本人から文書にて同意が得られている症例
4） ただしStep1においてはプロトコール条件を満たすMRIが術前に撮影されている場合は、患者の同意が得られれば術後に登録を行うことも可能とする

1) A case with primary rectal cancer is scheduled for TME and LLND
2) A case with histologically confirmed adenocarcinoma
3) Informed consent is obtained for participation in the study
4) Regarding Step 1, the postoperative registration is permissible.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
1） ペースメーカー等の人工物の埋め込みによりMRIの撮影が不可能な症例
2） 骨盤内の何らかのアーティファクトによりMRIによる側方の判断が不可能な症例
3） 骨盤内に大腸癌以外の悪性腫瘍（前立腺癌・膀胱癌・子宮癌・卵巣癌等）を有する症例
4） その他、試験責任医師または分担医師が本試験の登録に不適当と判断した症例

1) A case with a contraindication for MRI, such as use of artificial devices (e.g., cardiac pacemaker)
2) A case wherein assessing the status of LLN metastasis on MRI imaging is difficult because of intrapelvic artifacts
3) A case with an intrapelvic neoplasm, barring colorectal cancer, such as prostate cancer, bladder cancer, uterine cancer, and ovarian cancer.
4) A patient who is deemed to be inappropriate for study enrolment by the principal investigator or researcher
