手指の冷えを自覚する健康人に対して使い捨てカイロを用いた加温を図った場合、どの部位を加温するのが「冷え」感覚の軽減に導けるかを検証する。

It is expected that cold sensation will relief by warming using a disposable warmer, but it has been unknown which part is suitable for warming. Therefore, we warm several sites on healthy volunteers and examine where comfortable and safety.

18名の被験者はカイロホルダーに使い捨てカイロを挿入し、予め決められた順に頸部、肘部、手関節部を夫々1週間づつ加温する。12名の被験者はカイロホルダーのみを予め決められた順に頸部、肘部、手関節部を夫々1週間づつ装着する。

Eighteen subjects wear a disposable warmer holder with disposable warmer and warm the neck, elbow, and wrist joints for one week in a predetermined order, respectively. Twelve subjects wear the holders only on the neck, elbow, and wrist joints for one week in the predetermined order,respectively.

選択基準/Key inclusion criteria

1.同意取得時の年齢が20歳以上80歳未満である健康成人
2.四肢末端の冷えを自覚している者
3.本臨床研究の説明文書の内容を、研究責任者もしくは研究分担者の説明をもとに被験者本人が理解し、被験者本人による書面での同意を行うことができ、研究参加中の遵守事項を守り、実施計画書に定められた診察・評価を受け、自覚症状などの申告ができる者

1. Healthy adults, equal or over 20yo and under 80.
2. A person who is conscious of cold end of extremities
3. The content of the explanatory document of this clinical research can be understood by the subject himself based on the explanation of the research director or research sharing person, and the written subject can be agreed in writing by the subject himself, Person who can observe and evaluate prescribed in the implementation plan and can report subjective symptoms etc.

除外基準/Key exclusion criteria

日本語
1.カイロ装着部位に何らかの皮膚疾患を有する者
2.問診にて心臓血管系疾患、腎臓疾患、肝臓疾患、血液疾患、自己免疫疾患および発育障害等の基礎疾患を有する者で、薬物治療などにより病態がコントロールされていない者
3.糖尿病を有する者
4.末梢神経障害を有する者、又は過去に末梢神経障害の診断を受けた者（例：頚椎症、手根管症候群などによる末梢神経障害）
5.自己の意思でカイロホルダーの脱着が困難な者
6.その他、研究責任者及び研究分担者が本臨床研究の被験者として不適当と判断した者

1. A person who has some kind of skin disorder in the worn area of the body
2. A persons who have underlying diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, kidney diseases, liver diseases, blood diseases, autoimmune diseases and developmental disorders by interview, those whose pathology is not controlled by drug treatment or the like
3. A person who has diabetes
4. A persons with peripheral neuropathy or those who have previously undergone diagnosis of peripheral neuropathy (eg peripheral neuropathy due to cervical spondylosis, carpal tunnel syndrome, etc.)
5. A persons who have difficulty detaching the warmer holders with their own will
6. Other persons who have judged that the research director and research worker are inappropriate as subjects of this clinical study

主な結果/Results

日本語
30人の健康な試験参加者があった。頸部、両肘部、両手首部を夫々1週間づつカイロホルダーを装着した。内18 名は実際にカイロを挿入して使用した。
頸部と肘部のカイロ加温中に冷えVAS の有意な低下が観察された。日常への差し障り度評価は3 ヶ所間で差がなかった。手の表面温度・血流はカイロ（あるいはホルダーのみ）の使用で上昇は観察されなかった。

After obtaining informed consent, 30 people who usually had acral coldness used the warmer holders on the necks, elbows, and wrists.
The VAS of acral coldness of upper limbs decreased during the periods of warming on the neck and elbows with Kairo compared to the period without Kairo. There was no difference in the VAS value of the cumbersomeness among the neck, elbows, and wrists areas. The hand temperature on the day after the end of warming decreased slightly after elbow warming.

装着部の皮膚掻痒が2件（いずれも手関節部），発赤のⅠ度熱傷が2件（肘部1，頸部1），小水疱を伴うⅡ度熱傷が1件（頸部）観察された．
蕁麻疹が2件観られた．
