Male and Female
1. patients who are ventilated, tracheostomized, and unable to speak.
2. Patients who are expected to have difficulty in early weaning from artificial respiration
3. Patients who are able to communicate
4. Patients who can give written consent to participate in this study
1. Patients who have a wound or anatomical abnormality in the neck that makes it difficult to wear the device
2. Patients with restricted mouth movements
3. Patients with cognitive dysfunction, delirium, or agitation that makes it difficult to apply the device
4. Subjects deemed inappropriate by the investigator

After obtaining consent, a brief explanation of how to use the Syrinx electric artificial larynx will be given.
Two speech-language pathologists will evaluate the intelligibility of common words and sentences pronounced with the Syrinx.
The participants will pronounce common words and sentences using Syrinx, and their intelligibility will be evaluated by two speech-language pathologists.
Duration: about 20 minutes
