YES
The purpose of this study is to explore simple markers that can accurately diagnose dysbiosis during sepsis, which leads to poor outcome, by measuring inflammation, immunity, and metabolic functions using stool specimens.
Others
It has been reported that dysbiosis, an imbalance of the intestinal microbiota, contributes to poor prognosis in sepsis. While it is necessary to identify patients with severe disease who would benefit from dysbiosis control, no alternative to metagenomic analysis has been established to solve the problems of speed and cost. This study aims to explore simple markers that can accurately diagnose dysbiosis during sepsis, which leads to poor outcome, by measuring inflammatory, immune, and metabolic functions using stool specimens.
