EUS-FNA, which is minimally invasive and has a high tissue diagnostic proportion, may be an alternative examination for patients with suspected scirrhous gastric cancer who are difficult to diagnose by conventional esophagogastroduodenoscopy and/or biopsy. The purpose of our systematic review and meta-analysis was to identify and evaluate the evidence for the efficacy and safety of EUS-FNA in patients with suspected scirrhous gastric cancer.
