In this study, we investigate the effect of the conventional stylet use method and the modified method on the total intubation time, intubation difficulty, postoperative sore throat, etc. during endotracheal intubation using a videolaryngoscopy.

Maneuver |
Group C removes the stylet as soon as the end of the endotracheal tube enters the entrance of the vocal cord as in the conventional method
In group M, before passing the vocal cord, when the end of the endotracheal tube is visible on the videolaryngoscope screen, the entry of the stylet and the endotracheal tube is stopped, the position of the stylet is fixed, and only the endotracheal tube is pushed into the vocal cord.

ASA (American society of anesthesiologists) class I, II patients
Patients scheduled to undergo regular surgery under general anesthesia and endotracheal intubation using a videolaryngoscopy
Patients with dental mobility
In cases where rapid sequence intubation is required because the fasting time is not observed
Patients with pathology related to Airway
Patients with cervical spine instability
Patients with severe obesity
