(1) Patients' recognition of the clinical symptoms of schizophrenia and the motivation for its treatment

[Cohort Physicians]
1.Physicians who are working as psychiatrists in Japan.
2.Physicians who provide informed consent for the survey.
3.Physicians who have routinely treated 10 or more schizophrenia patients in the last three months in clinical practice.
4.Physicians who can enroll at least three schizophrenia patients that subject physicians are in charge of daily treatment into the Cohort Patient survey.
[Cohort Patients]
1.Patients who provide informed consent for the survey.
2.Patients who are diagnosed with schizophrenia.
3.Patients who are judged by their physicians to be eligible to participate in the survey (e.g., able to complete the entire online questionnaire using a digital device.)
4.Patients who are over 18 years of age (inclusive) at the time of consent.
