The first objective of this study is to survey first-year university students' actual dietary habits and food-related problems in order to understand the actual situation and clarify the problems. The second objective is to improve the dietary knowledge and behavior of first-year university students by providing nutrition education on the problems.

Many previous studies have pointed out that university students have problems such as imbalanced nutrition and high rates of absenteeism and isolation. It is important for university students to have a desirable diet, stay healthy both mentally and physically, and obtain the qualifications they are aiming for. It is expected that first-year university students who have just entered the university lack dietary knowledge and find it difficult to follow a healthy diet, but the actual situation is not clear. Therefore, the first objective of this study is to survey first-year university students' dietary habits and food-related problems to understand the actual situation and to clarify the problems. The second objective is to improve the first-year students' dietary knowledge and behavior by providing nutrition education on the problems.
