In adult cardiovascular surgery, intraoperative blood glucose fluctuations have been shown to be associated with postoperative organ failure. Pediatric cardiac surgery, especially neonatal and infant cardiac surgery, has a high incidence of postoperative acute kidney injury, but it is not clear whether it is related to intraoperative blood glucose fluctuations. Therefore, we designed this study to determine whether intraoperative blood glucose fluctuations are associated with postoperative acute kidney injury in neonatal and infant heart surgery using cardiopulmonary bypass.
Others
To retrospectively examine the relationship between intraoperative blood glucose fluctuations and the occurrence of postoperative acute kidney injury
