In the present study, we create dual-tasks with different amounts of spatial overlap in the brain regions that are active when performing each of single-task that make up the dual-task. We then use functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to test whether there is a relationship between the amount of overlap and the amount of dual-task interference.
Efficacy
The amount of dual-task interference (dual-task cost)
The amount of overlap with brain activity measured by fMRI
Interventional
Single arm
Non-randomized
Open -no one is blinded
